There are lots of fantastic events happening over the Diamond Jubilee Weekend in Southwold. Don't miss out on the party of the year!
Saturday 2nd June 2012Southwold High St All day: High St craft, vintage and retailer stalls, face painting, salsa dances, musicians and painting competition.11:00am: Egg and spoon race starting at Trinity’s Tea Rooms.11:30am: Riverbeat Drummers Group outside Tilly’s.12pm: Punch and Judy Show 1:00pm: Morris Dancing1:30pm: Handbell Ringing 2:00pm: Southwold and Reydon Corps of Drums3:00pm and 6pm: Caribbean Melody Steel Band7:00-9:00pm: The Super Swing Big Band – dancing in the Market Place

Sunday 3rd June 2012 10:00am: Flotilla of boats depart Southwold Pier for the harbour 10:30am: Civic Service in St Edmund’s Church12:00-3:00pm Steel Band on and around Southwold Pier 3:30pm: Tug of war at Southwold Harbour near Ferry4:30pm: Petanque at Harbour Inn – all welcome6:00pm BBQ at Harbour Inn – all welcome
Monday 4th June 201211:00am-4:00pm Lions Spring Bank Holiday Fete on Southwold Common with tradition games, tea tent, bands and lots of craft and food stalls7:00pm: Picnic at Gun Hill – Refreshments and BBQ also available10:15pm: Firing of canons and Fireworks.
