It was lovely to meet many of our valued Holiday Property Owners at Snape Maltings on Sunday 14th October, for the Suffolk Secrets' 2013 Brochure Launch and Homeowner Event.  A leisurely lunch was enjoyed in the beautifully-positioned restaurant adjoining the Concert Hall, with far reaching views over the Alde River reed beds towards Iken Church. Lunch was followed by a “thank you” presentation by Alex Paul, General Manager of  Suffolk Secrets, before Marc Enesti from Aldeburgh Music gave an informative talk on the forthcoming Benjamin Britten Centenary Celebrations. The Centenary Celebrations are due to commence in early November, and will hopefully attract worldwide attention and increased music-tourism to the area. Everyone assembled after lunch, to take a stroll along the Sailors’ Path, guided by Neil Lister from the Suffolk Coast and Heaths AONB. The Sailors’ Path, which runs from Snape Bridge and onto Aldeburgh, has recently been upgraded with funds kindly donated by Suffolk Secrets’ customers.  Part of the AONB’s EU BALANCE project, the upgrade has included surface and route improvements, new interpretation boards, new directional markers and a  SUFFOLK Secrets branded Explorer Guide.  We were pleased to see our customer’s donations being used to manage and conserve the natural landscape for future visitors to enjoy.  Scheduled during November, the official launch of the upgraded Sailors’ Path will be publicised locally and nationally.    If you have a property and would like further information on our Suffolk holiday letting service, please do not hesitate to call on tel: 01502 722 717 or alternatively, request an Owners Information Pack.
