If you love all things Suffolk, don’t forget to tune in to BBC Countryfile this Sunday (17th November 2013).

The Countryfile team visits Suffolk to find out more about the centenary of Suffolk-born Benjamin Britten.  Britten was inspired by many aspects of Suffolk, both the people and the landscapes and presenter Julia Bradbury, will be learning about one of Britten’s lesser-known operas – Curlew River.

This episode will also feature the Suffolk Punch Trust in Hollesley near Woodbridge and presenter Matt Baker will find out all about how this majestic breed has shaped our rural landscape.

Aldeburgh and BrittenComposer Benjamin Britten lived and worked in Aldeburgh for many years.  This wonderful Suffolk seaside town has a rich maritime history, a great selection of restaurants and pubs and lots of beautiful walks. Suffolk Secrets represents many Visit England quality assessed properties in Aldeburgh, including Elm Cottage, a charming fisherman's cottage situated just a few minutes walk from the shops and beach.
