It’s beginning to feel very festive in Suffolk. Father Christmas himself will be visiting Snape Maltings this weekend, but don’t look out for his sleigh or reindeer, he'll be arriving in style aboard a beautiful Thames sailing barge!
Ready for his midday arrival on Sunday 15th December, his welcoming party will include a team of helpful elves and musicians from Martlesham Brass. Snape Quay will also be a hive of activity with lots of singing and festive family cheer. Mince pies, hot chocolate and brownies will also be available for purchase from the Coffee Hut and Granary Tea Room.
Snape Maltings will also be hosting a festive farmers market on the Saturday prior to Christmas. Delicious locally sourced offerings will include ethically reared meat, fresh produce, delicious Suffolk cheese and homemade cakes and puddings. The market takes place between 9:30am-1pm on 21st December 2013.
