The 13th Aldeburgh Literary Festival, Friday 28 February - Sunday 2 March 2014.
The Aldeburgh Literary Festival is organised by John and Mary James of the Aldeburgh Bookshop, which is located just a few doors down from the Suffolk Secrets' office on the high street.
Now in its 13th year, the 2014 Aldeburgh Literary Festival takes place at The Jubilee Hall and The Aldeburgh Cinema. The 2014 festival’s opening day welcomes authors Lucinda Lambton, Patrick Gale, Alan Power, Frances Welch and Professor Mark Miodownik who has been rated as one of the top 100 most influential people in UK science by The Times newpaper.
There will also be a film screening of Snake Dance which documents the terrifying use of nuclear weapons over Hiroshima in 1945. The screening will also include a book launch and Q&A session by the author of Snake Dance, Patrick Marnham.
