Love eating? Love walking? Then why not visit Helmingham Hall on Sunday 31st August 2014 for “Walk with a Fork".

Walk with a Fork is a fundraising event organised by Ormiston Children & Families Trust. This year’s walk will return to Helmingham Hall in Suffolk and you’re invited to join in the fun with a stroll around this stunning country estate. Stop off along the way to sample delicious treats from some of Suffolk’s finest food and drink producers including Alder Tree Ice Creams, Hillfarm Oils, Stokes Sauces, Suffolk Salami (Lane Farm) and Aspall Cyder.

Lady Tollemache has chosen a favourite eight-mile walk across her beautiful home exclusively for the Walk with a Fork fundraiser; taking in views, architecture and hidden valleys not usually seen by members of the public.

The Helmingham Hall estate incorporates a beautiful moated Hall dating back to the 1500s, a walled kitchen garden complete with rows of herbs and vegetables,  400 acres of beautiful parkland with resident red deer and stunning formal and informal gardens created by award-winning garden designer Lady Xa Tollemache. Helmingham Hall's beautiful gardens incorporate a classic parterre flanked by musk roses, shrub and flowering borders and a fragrant rose garden.

Tickets are £10 per person with free entry to children under five years old. The price includes entry to the estate and gardens, lunch, entertainment and a tasty treat at each food stop. Advance bookings are recommended by phoning 01473 705034 or purchase your tickets online by clicking here.
