A Bury Exciting Christmas Fayre!
Published: Wednesday 11th Nov 2015
Who hasn’t made a start on their Christmas shopping yet? Well, if you’re one of these people then why not visit Bury St Edmunds and attend the Bury St Edmunds Christmas Fayre on Thursday 26th November to Sunday 29th November 2015.
The Bury St Edmunds Christmas Fayre is one of the best in the county and with over 300 stalls you’re sure to be able to make a good start on finding gifts ideal for all the family. Not only does the Fayre provide the perfect shopping retreat but there is also an abundance of entertainment for the children to enjoy.
With the event spread over three days there is so much to see and do. Thursday tends to be the quietest, being day one, and therefore more opportunity to see everything on offer. There is also a delightful parade with puppets and local school children taking part and carol singing in the Cathedral from 6pm. The evening is set to finish with an impressive fireworks display.
On Friday and Saturday the Christmas Fayre is open from 10am – 8pm and Sunday from 10am - 5pm. You can expect to see a Christmas Magic Show, Santa’s elves and reindeers, Morris dancers, snow dome, Dr Who Exhibition and much more!
Fancy a quick coffee in-between present hunting? No problem – there are so many coffee shops, traditional tearooms and pubs there is something for everyone.
The Bury St Edmunds Christmas Fayre website have produced a very handy leaflet including parking arrangements and a map of the Fayre so ensure you print yours before the event for everything you could possibly need to know!
