Published: Wednesday 10th Feb 2016

There’s no better way of knowing Spring is on its way than when the snowdrops come out to play. These beautiful, delicate flowers known as Galanthus are such a delight to see and here in Suffolk we have some fabulous places where you can see gorgeous spreads of these little delights.

Ickworth House is a beautiful stately Georgian home in Bury St Edmunds. The fantastic gardens on display, intriguing architecture and historic backstory make this the perfect place to visit with friends, family and loved ones. Snowdrops can be found in many places on the estate but mostly in Lady Geraldine’s walk and the Albana walk with many different varieties of this special flower to see. There are also many other events which take place throughout the year at Ickworth House, visit our events calendar to see other activities for both adults and children.
