Situated in the heart of the popular coastal village on the Market Hill, The Old Post Office has been a prominent landmark for many years. As it's name suggests, the cottage once served the area as a Post Office; the post box still remains today!
Upon entering the cottage you are met with a long hallway, with doors leading to the sitting room, cloakroom and kitchen/diner. The sitting room, with a delightful open fireplace, looks out over the Market Hill - you can even see the renowned Pump Street Bakery - you’ll find it hard to resist popping in to sample some of their delicious goodies (we recommend the rhubarb doughnuts!). Here too, you will also find a fantastic variety of books and board games, particularly useful for rainy days or cold evenings snuggled up with a glass of wine …
The light, airy and modern kitchen/diner looks out over the enclosed rear garden - the ultimate sun trap come summer. The tri-folding doors bring the outside in - making family dining a delight. Parents can watch their children playing on the lawn whilst preparing dinner, perfect for a bit of "me-time".
