We recently caught up with the owner of The Lobster Pot, Tamsin. We wanted to see what she thought of our service so far and what led her to choose Suffolk Cottage Holidays as her letting agent.
How long has The Lobster Pot been a part of the Suffolk Cottage Holidays family? The Lobster Pot was first let out through Suffolk Cottages at the end of Feb 2017, after 4 months of renovation work.
What made you choose Suffolk Cottage Holidays as a letting agency for The Lobster Pot? I chose Suffolk Cottages because I had heard good reports from owners and I really liked the family and friendly ethos of the team,
What have you enjoyed about our service to you as an owner so far? What has been great about Suffolk cottages for me being new to the holiday let world, was that they were more than willing to advise me on what customers are looking for, what I needed to do to get started and then also support the successful operation with a laundry service as well as maintenance and cleaning services if needed. This has taken, and still does, a whole heap of hassle off my shoulders and helps me to feel confident that all is well at the cottage.
What was it that first inspired you to start letting The Lobster Pot? What most inspired me to start letting the Lobster Pot was finding out that there was a lot of help available to get up and running, and that the infra structure you need (cleaning, laundry, maintenance etc) was all to hand. This meant it was a lot simpler than I thought and has allowed me and my family to enjoy the lovely cottage and Orford (see photo of canoeing on the river) , allowing others to do so too which in turn helps make it a more sustainable luxury for me…!!
