Cake and Prosecco? Don't mind if I do!

Suffolk Cottage Holidays celebrated the opening of its new Woodbridge office with a stylish Sunday Tea party.

The area’s leading holiday lettings agency is one of the first firms to move into the landmark Deben Wharf development, and on Sunday August 5 threw open its doors to homeowners, holidaymakers and other specially-invited guests. “Properties and people are what make our world go around here at Suffolk Cottage Holidays,” says General Manager Julian Brackenbury. “We’re excited about all the properties showcased in our self-catering portfolio, and we’re especially delighted to have our own new home in one of Suffolk’s most exciting new community projects – Whisstocks in Woodbridge.”

Prosecco served from bespoke Italian tuk-tuk bar Prosecco O’Clock and a delicious Afternoon Tea by Arabella Reeve Catering added extra sparkle to the occasion, which was attended by Mayor of Woodbridge, Cllr David Mortimer and Tide Mill Trustee John Leming, who gave a talk on the historic riverside landmark – one of only two working tide mills in the UK.

“The new office supports our aim of providing the very best service to holidaymakers and homeowners across the Suffolk countryside” says Julian “and we were delighted with the support we received for our event – a huge thank you to all who came along. It was the perfect way to officially open our fantastic office and we look forward to welcoming more people to our new location. We won’t always have Prosecco and cake on offer, sadly… but we can always stretch to a cup of tea!”
