Step inside the iconic, fully working Tide Mill, a living museum, sitting on the banks of Woodbridge’s River Deben. You will see how the flour is milled, find out how bread is made and learn about all the parts of the machinery and its workings.

Maui Waui is a 3 day international festival of music, performance and arts. Now in it 6th year it is fast becoming one of the area most exciting festivals, pulling in accomplished and undiscovered bands and performers from all around the globe. Maui Waui focuses on an all welcoming family feel with loads to do for Kids and Adults, from watching world class bands, full circus shows in a dedicated circus tent, big bass dance tents, small upbeat bands and acoustic acts, cabaret and comedy.

Urban Jungle, London Road, Beccles, NR32 8TT | CACTUS & CHILLI FESTIVAL
Urban Jungle in Beccles will be hosting an unusual week-long, free to attend festival celebrating ‘all things spicy and spiky’. Make your way through the Edible Jungle, and discover all kinds of chillies in different shapes, sizes, and heat levels- all in strikingly vivid colours. Browse the huge range of Cacti and Succulents, spotting some rare and wonderful plants. Listen to a talk on how to grow Cacti and Succulents in the UK, or try some chillies and learn which types are suitable for different dishes. Throughout the week, there will be offers on chillies and cacti, and Café Jungle will be serving up Central and Southern American inspired dishes, street food, and cocktails. Other activities will include games, music, and treasure hunts. We challenge you to attend this event without accidentally pricking your finger on a cactus or setting your mouth on fire trying a fiery chilli.

Viking re-enactment society Jorvik Vikingr will be invading West Stow Anglo-Saxon Village in Bury St Edmunds this bank holiday weekend. A unique family day out, you’ll have the chance to see how Vikings lived, hear their stories, watch their skilled craft demonstrations and learn about their weapons and combat skills.

The return of the Bury St Edmunds Food & Drink Festival. Now running into its 6th year the festival is gaining huge acclaim and includes appearances from top celebrity chefs - this year's festival will welcome James Tanner and Paul Rankin. You will also be treated to a variety of food and drink stalls, cookery demonstrations - including a cocktail making demo - as well as street entertainment and fairground rides, perfect for entertaining the troops while you stuff your face with deliciousness. This family-friendly festival is free to enter and is one not to miss!

Lavenham Recreation Ground, Lavenham, CO10 9SH | LAVENHAM CLASSICS
If you prefer life a bit more fast paced then head down to the Lavenham Classics event at Lavenham Recreation Ground. The newly re-named festival is growing in popularity and is open to all veteran, vintage, classic and supercars & motor cycles. There will be a variety of food and drink stalls available to both vehicle owners and visitors, with all proceeds going to charity including The East Anglian Air Ambulance Service and Lavenham Community Council.
