Great Gatsby Themed New Year’s Eve Party

The Crown, Woodbridge

Monday 31st December

A 1920’s New Year’s spectacular at The Crown in Woodbridge could be the celebration you’ve always wanted. Their Great Gatsby themed New Year’s Eve party is set to be an evening of glitz and glam. Guests can enjoy champagne on arrival, sumptuous cocktails, a smart buffet and a mini casino. Music from Marco Spina and Club Movida is sure to get the party started, and guests are encouraged to dress in their best Gatsby outfits. Prizes will be awarded to the best dressed and to those who have won the most chips. All of this for just £55 per person, or for £20 per entry after 10 pm. 

New Year’s Eve Hootenanny

St Peter’s by The Waterfront, Ipswich

A New Year’s Eve party in a stunning location, Hootenanny will certainly be a hoot! With outstanding live music, yummy street food and specialist gin, cocktails and craft beers, you can celebrate the start of 2019 in the unique venue of a medieval church. The BBC’s Stephen ‘Foz’ Foster will be introducing sets from the indomitable Rock n Roll Band J.S & The Lockerbillies, Soul-Funk-Boogie rhythms from DJ Daniel Lee Harvey and a special Grapevine LIVE acoustic set from Folk-Punk guitarist James Morgan. You’ll be dancing the night away on full bellies for an entry price of just £30, or £25 if you book ahead. 

New Year’s Day Breakfast

Jimmy’s Farm, Wherstead

There’s no better way to kick off the New Year than with a yummy breakfast made of local Suffolk ingredients. Head to Jimmy’s Farm on New Year’s Day and you can do just that! First, you’ll enjoy your delicious breakfast from a full English to just toast if you wish, then you’re welcome to have a plod around Jimmy’s Farm and Wildlife Park. Book your tickets online via Jimmy’s Farm website and enjoy discounted entry to the park. 

New Year’s Eve Family Disco 

Ufford Park, Woodbridge

Monday 31st December 

Kicking off the celebrations at 7 pm, this family-friendly New Year’s disco at Ufford Park is perfect if you’re visiting Suffolk this New Year’s Eve with your little ones. Guests can eat to their heart's content from the buffet with the likes of some yummy profiteroles to polish off a delicious meal. The evening also includes an arrival drink and disco for the whole family at a beautiful venue. The evening is £35 for adults and £20 for children up to 12 with under 5’s welcome for free!

New Year’s Eve Ball

Ravenwood Hall, Bury St Edmunds

Monday 31st December

If you feel like really going all out, then the New Year’s Eve ball at Ravenwood Hall is the place to do it. A black-tie event, guests will indulge in champagne and canopies followed by a sit-down meal with an impressive entrée of courses followed by a firework display at midnight. Guests can then dance the night away till 2 am.  With the historic market town of Bury St Edmunds on the doorstep to this beautiful hall, not only will you have a New Year’s night to remember, but you can enjoy being in one of Suffolk’s most popular towns.
