The Turks Head, Hasketon

Lauren our property recruiter recommends The Turks Head in Hasketon.  A ‘proper’ country pub with a small and intimate restaurant (yet you don’t feel on top of one another) that uses local ingredients to produce a mouthwatering menu, perfect for a ‘treat’.  Stylishly renovated and with plenty of outdoor space too The Turks Head is relaxed and welcoming.

The Ufford Crown, Ufford

Hannah our recruitment manager suggests a visit to The Ufford Crown, which is just outside Woodbridge.  Here’ you’ll find really delicious local food, attentively served by a great team who always make you feel special in a relaxed yet indulgent atmosphere.

The Unruly Pig, Bromeswell

Oli, our property services manager suggests The Unruly Pig at Bromeswell, near Woodbridge.
It’s a really special place and is listed 29th in the Estrella Damm UK Top 50 Gastropubs 2020 Awards .  The food is incredible and the service is second to none. The staff always go the extra mile.  Rich heritage colours, and a combination of contemporary and vintage leather and wood furniture plus a character fireplace give the Unruly Pig a luxury feel without being too overbearing.

Swan House, Beccles

Sally, our marketing manager would go to Swan House, Beccles.  This charming guest house and restaurant in the heart of the town is perhaps a little quirky, it’s menu being mezzes, platters and a few daily specials, but the whole meal experience is lovely.  The restaurant is small, the food is tasty and the service is attentive.  The sofas near the fireplace are deep and comfortable - perfect for after dinner coffee!

The Queens Head, Bramfield

Lynie from our homeowner services team would go to The Queens Head at Bramfield, a charming 16th century alehouse backing onto the very pretty St Andrews Church.  It’s wood burner and oak beams make it a really cosy place for a winter meal and the food is delicious!  Of course there’s plenty of space in the garden too and it’s family and dog friendly.

Sutherland House, Southwold

Cathy, our marketing assistant would go to Sutherland House in Southwold.  Owners Andy and Kinga are passionate about delivering a first class meal experience and have earned 2 AA Rosettes for food quality. Ingredients are fresh and local and the menu has a steer towards seafood, although other dishes are available.  A visit here is a real treat.
