Maverick Festival

The UK's first and finest americana music festival is returning to the heart of the Suffolk countryside again for 2020. The Maverick Festival is set amongst the restored Victorian barns and out-buildings of Easton Farm Park, with films, workshops and performances from over fifty different artists across six stages, indoors and out. This event is ideal for families and has a great selection of delicious food & drink stalls.

LeeStock is a charity based music festival in memory of local musician Lee Dunford, with all proceeds donated to the Willow Foundation and other local causes. It has grown in popularity over years and last year's festival wasa complete sell out! This year looks to be another fantastic event with headliners announced including Toploader and Scouting For Girls.

Beccles River Festival

Following the success of 2019’s Beccles River Festival, it is returning in 2020. There will be historic craft to view, local musicians to listen too and plenty of local food fayre stalls for visitors to sample. A great opportunity for people of all ages to sample a range of nautical delights, or relax and listen to some great music down by the riverside.

Dragon Fest

Dragon Fest is an annual event hosted by West Stow Anglo-Saxon Village. Each year the village is invaded by dragons, characters and puppets. In 2019, Flame, the smoke breathing dragon arrived at the festival to entertain the whole family! A fantastic day out for all the family including circus skills, arts, crafts and storytelling.

Suffolk Walking Festival

The 2019 festival was a great success, and 2020 looks to be event bigger and better! The festival includes a variety of individual events such as meeting Kite the Sheepdog on Orford Ness, a Night Safari, riding in military vehicles, sailing on a thames barge and cruising along the River Stour. With art lessons, poetry writing and photography courses, the Suffolk Waking Festival is much more than just walking. Our walk leaders share their enthusiam for this amazing county with its beautiful landscapes and facinating heritage.
