All of us at Suffolk Secrets are proud to be #trulylocal and our dogs are too!

Here, some of our team with four-legged friends share their favourite places around the Suffolk coast and countryside to take their pooch for walks and doggy treats.

Tess in Tunstall Forest

Robyn in our Property Recruitment team often loves to explore the Suffolk countryside near her home with family dogs, Tess and Bramble.

Robyn says: “We’re so lucky in Suffolk to be surrounded by such lovely dog-friendly walks. If I was to pin down my favourite dog walk (which I must add is hard when we have such great ones!) it would have to be Tunstall forest – our two family dogs can burn off so much energy whilst we get to enjoy a scenic walk. There are also so many different parts of the forest to explore and miles of footpath so you’ll never get bored. It’s great for the whole family and perfectly finished with a cup of tea!”

Our Marketing Manager Sally has one cool dude of a doggy and here is Harry surfing on Southwold beach!

Surfer Dude Harry

Sally says: “My family and our dog Harry love a visit to The Harbour Café at Southwold.  We park at the Common and do a circular walk across the Common to the harbour, along the beach and back through the town.  The Harbour Café is perfectly placed half way round the route for a coffee and cake. For Harry there’s always a tasty dog biscuit waiting and sometimes even a cheeky sausage!”

Megan and Milo

Property recruiter Megan and Border Terrier Milo love countryside adventures together.

Megan says: “Myself, Matt and Milo love long walks that usually involve a good country pub! One of our favourite walks is the aptly named Three Churches walk stretching across the west Suffolk countryside near Newmarket and goes through three parish churches. Starting in the small village of Dalham, walking across the rolling fields to Gazeley and ending in Moulton at The Packhorse Inn, where a little tipple can be had and a tasty bonio for Milo!”

Finley on Walberswick beach

Finally, Raine in our Guest Services Team enjoys long walks with her friend’s dog Finley.

“We love to to go walking with Finley in lots of different local places,” Raine says. “The muddy woods of Dunwich where he can run free and roll in mud finishing up in the cosy pub The Queens Head at Blyford on the way home.”

“Finley loves the retrieving balls from the sea and to jet up and down the beach at Walberswick with a pit stop at the tea room café for some doggy treats and to watch us eat soup and sandwiches,” says Raine.
