Sutton Hoo Gruesome Graves Tour

Have you ever seen the burial site of an Anglo Saxon Warrior King’s ship? If you haven’t, half term is the ideal time to join a trail around these fascinating burial mounds and learn all about the Anglo Saxon way of life.

You can also join the Gruesome Graves Tour between 2 - 3.30pm on 17, 19 and 21 February 2014.

The National Trust Sutton Hoo site includes an award winning exhibition featuring displays of real and replica battle regalia including shields and swords. There are also lots of beautiful walks around the estate which is situated on the banks of the River Deben.
