With Halloween just around the corner, my thoughts have turned to the spooky goings on of the county and I remembered back to my local school days, when I learned about the wonderful lost city of Dunwich.
The towns dotted across the Suffolk coast are thriving with visitors and day-trippers in the summer holidays. Felixstowe is one of these coastal towns which can be enjoyed by everyone looking for a fun-filled day by the seaside.
The Aldeburgh Pop-Up Gallery, hosted by Georgiana Pike and Sabina Forwood, is taking place every day between 8th and 20th August 2015. This exciting art exhibition is being held at the Cinema Gallery in Aldeburgh.
Thorpeness was created by the Scottish playwright Glencairn Stuart Ogilvie during the Edwardian period. Ogilvie decided to create Thorpeness as a private place to stay for his friends and family to holiday during the summer.
The village of Wangford just off the A12 is a surprisingly quiet and peaceful village with friendly local people. It is popular with holidaymakers looking to be based near to Southwold but away from the hustle and bustle.
