With a new year comes new and exciting events. Here in Suffolk, we are spoilt for choice with an abundance of wonderful things to do from music festivals to village fetes.
Summer might almost be over, but there’s no need for the winter blues just yet. An autumnal Suffolk is a beautiful place to be. After a long summer, Suffolk takes a deep breath and relaxes after entertaining its guests.
Back for its second year, Thorpefest returns to Thorpeness Country Club this July with a bigger line up of music acts, entertainment and food and drink.
The festivities are nearly upon us which means pantomime season is coming! Across the county there are some fantastic theatres and halls where you’ll find a whole host of pantomimes from traditional storylines and a few quirks!
If you’ve never been to Snape Maltings before, or have not been for a while, a trip to this wonderful haven of tranquillity and arts has to be on your ‘to do’ list during your Suffolk cottage holiday.
Over the centuries Suffolk has been the inspiration of many a poet, artist and composer. Each year across various stages, concert halls and arenas we celebrate our love music and the arts at a plethora of wonderful festivals and concerts.
Following on from the resounding success of last year’s Sixties by The Sea event, Soul by The Sea will take place in a wonderful open-air setting on Aldeburgh seafront on Saturday 5th July 2014.
June and July is a fantastic time to visit Suffolk for a weekend break or a longer cottage holiday – especially as it’s fabulous festival season here in our beautiful county.
September sees the start of the anticipated Southwold Concert Series continuing on until May 25th 2013. Southwold has long been an inspiration for outstanding music.
